NMSU Students, Faculty and Staff can now reserve event space at the Corbett Center Student Union, Stan Fulton University Club, and Golf Course Banquet Facilities online through Virtual EMS at events.nmsu.edu

Priority Scheduling remains in effect in Virtual EMS, which allows you to reserve an event up through July of the current academic year. Student Organizations can begin booking through the following academic year beginning on March 1 st . All University Departments will be able to book for the following academic year beginning March 16 th .

Request for facilities needed less than 72 hours should be directed to the Conference Services Office at ConferenceHelp@nmsu.edu . Note that the Student Activities policy is that student activity requests must be submitted a minimum of 10 days in advance of an event.

Event Charges
There is no cost for the rental space for departments and student organizations in the Corbett Center Student Union so long as the event is not considered external. If any one of the following factors applies to your event, then it is external and rental space fees will be accessed:

•  You are advertising the event to the public in a newspaper or external location to NMSU

•  You are charging any fees to attend or attempting to sell an item or service at the event

•  Any equipment fees or other charges are not being paid for directly by your department or student organization

•  Greater than 50% of the audience are non university staff or students

•  Your department or student organization is not running the event

External Clients

Please contact the Conference Services office directly at 575-646-4805, by email at ConferenceHelp@nmsu.edu , or submit a Reservation Request Form to check availability and receive a price quote. Once availability is determined, our conference coordinator will prepare a Facilities and Services Agreement for your review. Upon return of a signed contract and deposit, space reservations will be confirmed.

Important information about insurance: It is the responsibility of the Client to provide General Liability, Fleet Liability, and Workman's Compensation Insurance for all day(s) of the event. The University will have Premise Liability only, and the Client shall hold harmless the Regents and employees of the University on any present or future claims. A Certificate of Insurance must be furnished to the University no later than fifteen (15) calendar days prior to the event as outlined in the Facilities and Services Agreement
